Featured in Citizen Femme!
There are press mentions, and then there are press mentions.
Being featured in Citizen Femme - the destination for stylish, switched-on women who have taste - felt like the latter.
Jessica Salter, contributor to Citizen Femme's Enfants section (and a woman who also recommends trapeze lessons and immersive Cinderella experiences, so her bar is high), included Classette in her May picks alongside some genuinely brilliant things to do with children this month.
Here's what she said:
"The only way to get my five-year-old to let me brush her hair is to bedazzle her with new hair accessories. I was glad to find the start up Classette, which has packs of hairbands, bobbles and clips all in your school's uniform colour, and a cute canvas bag to store them in."
Honestly? We felt seen.
Because that's exactly it. The morning hair situation isn't really about hair. It's about the negotiation. The clock. The "I hate bobbles" announcement at 7:49am. The clip that went missing on Tuesday and apparently cannot be replaced by any of the other fourteen clips in existence.
Classette exists for that moment.
Fifteen pieces - clips, bobbles and a headband - all arriving in a canvas carry sack, in red, navy or green to match the uniform. Plastic-free. Ethically made. And priced at £19.99 with free shipping, because school mornings are already expensive enough in emotional currency.
Jes found us. Her five-year-old is now allegedly co-operative. We're calling that a win.
